Game Of the Week!

In the last show, we saw Baadur Jobava go down in flames in one of his patented unusual openings. But in the very next round at the ACP Golden Classic, he showed the positive side of his quirky opening repertoire against Nepomniachtchi. Massing his pieces in the center worked well to prepare Jobava for the eventual assault, which overwhelmed Nepom in an artistic if not complicated manner. So let's all drink in a more satisfying cup of Jo...bava.
